Dana Elaine Owens better known as Queen Latifah, is an American rapper actress and singer. Queen Latifah is an American actress, rapper as well as a singer. Queen Latifah, the daughter of the Newark New Jersey schoolteacher and an Newark New Jersey police officer Lancelot Owens Senior, was born and raised in Newark New Jersey.
