Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. He blends soul gospel jazz and R&B for a distinctive blend. Avery Sunshine has performed on Broadway and at festivals in Europe. She has also performed at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine's real title is Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta however, she comes in Chester Pennsylvania where she began the musical path by singing as well as playing the piano at church. Her musical career began in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The single that featured her vocals, Stalk You the House, was only released in Japan. The song has been remixed numerous times and has become a staple of her live shows. The singer has also provided her singing to The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005, Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage play Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy- and Tony Award winning vocalist who was part of the stage production Dreamgirls during the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, contacted her to be the choral leader for the production. Sunshine gained attention during the four daily performances in 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing at Barack Obama's 2009 Inauguration.
