Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as to several Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of actress Savitri in Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She also won an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. The early 2000s were when she started her career as an actress. Following her study of fashion design, she returned to the world of film. She had her first lead part in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first film projects that were not in Malayalam and was signed to appear in several Tamil films at the same time. Although the movie did poorly at the box-office the film she made her debut in is A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) where she played alongside Vikramprabhu. The actress had to pull out of a number of films she was already working on in 2015, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for larger projects. In the end, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and will now be after September 2020. It'll have a different title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was made in the year 2016 and featured in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay. She has also appeared as an Tamil actress in Paambhu Sattai as well as an Telugu actress in Nenu Local.
